Mark Velasquez was born and raised in Santa Maria, CA, receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA in 2000. He has worked as a freelance photographer, graphic designer, and art director across Europe and the Americas for various projects and international publications. While teaching photography at Hancock College, he also spends his time writing, producing, and directing short films. Today he can be found somewhere on the West Coast, camera in hand, mind reeling.
